For the theme "In The Field" everything you hear, has come from a field recording and translated through the modular synth.

It makes for a unique ride through sounds as perceived and recorded by our 12 artists.

The theme: In The Field

Theme winner: Artpunk (Cameron Stephen)

Explanation of the theme: "Taking elements from field recordings as a base and building on them, using/manipulating/slicing/dicing/whatever as well as adding melodic and/or rhythmic elements to realise a final track".

Collaborative experimental session recorded using only eurorack modular synths. Four groups of artists share WAV files to create music around the chosen theme. All groups started with a short audio file created by theme winner Artpunk.
